Payment/Reimbursement of medical expenses to beneficiaries under CGHS and Central Services (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1944 from two source-From insurance agencies and from the CGHS or from the Ministry/Department.

This is very important information . Those who  have medical insurance policy , can first avail insurance and there after can utilise our reimbursement under CGHS or CSMA rules . But the total amount claimed should not be more than what we have from both the sources . 

In addition to this Premium paid for.medical.jnsurance policy is exempted under Sec 80 D .
