It is heart brokening news to me hearing the sad demise of brother M Krishnan . We worked together nearly a decade in the postal trade union movement.Though we were in two different principles,ideology followers,we worked together for the sake of postal employees on the following issues,
1.IT modernisation project in the postal Department
2.MNOP
3.Finalisation of cadre restructure of PA/SA
4.7th cpc related issues
During our period jointly we issued 5 strike notices and had marathon
discussion with administration under the banner of postal JCA and
settled hundreds of issues with cooperation affiliated Unions of FNPO
& NFPE General secretaries
When the Central government
Employees Confedration issued a notice for one day strike , on 7 th cpc
issues Fnpo also participated in one day strike by issuing separate
notice.
Even after our retirement we used to call and discuss
various issues of central government employees particularly postal
employees.
Personally i lost my brother.
It is a big loss central govt employees particularly postal employees.
His wisdom and sincerity towards postal employees is unquestionable.
I convey my heart felt condolences to his family and others.
