Union Network International, Indian Laison Counsil Women and Youth Committee meeting held at Mumbai



On 24.11.2022 Union Network International,  Indian Laison Counsil Women and Youth Committee meeting held at Grand Hotel, Mumbai. Sister Christy Hoffman, UNI GLOBAL Head (from US), Brother Rajendra Kumar Acharya, UNI APRO Regional Secretary, Bro Milind Nandkarni President UNI ILC,  Bro Sivaji Vasireddy  UNI ILC General Secretary, and participants from various Banks, Postal(FNPO), Health Care Sector, Print Media, LIC etc  have attended the meeting.. NAPEc  UNI ILC Youth Committee member Bro Rakesh Reddy, Telangana and Sister Pushpa Tomer,  MP, Women Committe President Ms Rekham DM, Karnataka, Rahul Kerala, Jhansi Karnataka, from Maharashtra Komal shyamlal Sidhwani, Shital D.Veer, Usha Gole, Madhavi Ghag, Komal shyamlal Sidhwani, Shital D.Veer, Usha Gole, Madhavi Ghag, Promod Jhadav, another  two from Postmen union  and two from R3 union participated in the meeting. Ms Sapna from United professional form given good presentation about organisation, min wage, rights of the workers. Women and Youth committees also submitted their activities report.bThe meeting of global leaders and their ideology/efforts in organising the unorganised sector workers is really appreciable.. UNI Global Union is doing a wonderful job to educate the workers of various sectors across the globe and  fight for their rights.. I am happy to share that out of 40 participants attended more than 50% are from FNPO family.

  In the after noon session meeting held with all UNI ILC affiliated wings. Sister Christi relief to  all the GS questions about labor laws , Non holding of ILO meeting  in India since years and the common problems facing by the workers at Global level. For after noon session from FNPO Shiva kumar, Sivaji, Mujawar, Muralidharan attended. Meeting ended with dinner at West End Hotel. Sister Anjali Badekar UNI APRO Director Equal opportunity for women and women activities and Co-ordinator UNI ILC has organized this program in a grand manner by taking lot of pains.
