Sub: Standard Operating procedure (SOP) for PLI SBI NACH integration (National Automated Clearing House (NACH)-reg

Ref: PLI Dte letter no. PLI-56/6/2023-PLI-DOP dated 19-04-2023 & 11-01-2024

As Circles are aware that PLI SBI NACH functionality was launched on 12-01-2024. In this regard, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for streamlining the end-to-end process for DOP field users has been formulated. (Enclosed). SOP is divided into two parts as mentioned below:

Part-I:This section describes the purpose of different modules and sub modules Of SBI Mandate Portal. Additionally, this section also explains how to use different modules and sub modules of SBI portal for registration of the NACH mandate, as obtained from PLI/RPLI customers.

The completion of activities defined in this section will be a prerequisite before indexing of billing method change request in McCamish for opting •NACH’ billing mode.

Part-Il:This section describes the procedure to be followed for handling SBI NACH functionality in the McCamish System by initiating & completing the billing method request of ‘NACH’.

fie procedure outlined in this section is required to be undertaken by the field users only upon completion of the activities defined in Part-I of the sop.

The reconciliation and accounting of transactions under this functionality will be carried out centrally by Nodal Office Bengaluru GPO, Karnataka Circle.

The number of transactions and the premium amount under ‘First Year’ and ‘Renewal Year’ category from NACH functionality may be obtained by the Circles from ‘All Channel Premium Collection Report’ provisioned in McCamish. In addition, provision of detailed collection report has also been made in McCamish for the Nodal Office, Bengaluru GPO.

Roles & responsibilities Of the NodaI Office Bengaluru GPO, CEVr and IPPB teams from the above functionality perspective have been outlined in the Part-Il of the above SOP.

Furtherance to the above, the user details (i.e. Maker & Checker) of remaining CPCs/HOs of Circles for creation of their User IDs for accessing SBI portal may kindly be supplied through Indiapost email ID Of the Circles to mandets.cmphyd@sbi.co.in under intimation to this Directorate at technology.plidte@indiapost.gov.in. The detailed guideline for furnishing the above requisite information issued vide PLI Dte letter no. PI-I-56/6/2023PLI-DOP dated 19-04-2023 may kindly be referred to.

The above SOP may kindly be circulated to all offices under your jurisdiction for strict compliance and the NACH facility may be given wide publicity among field users, sales force and existing as well as prospective PLI/RPLI policyholders.

Sub:- Implementation of Aadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance System [AEBAS]

With reference to the subject cited above, the issues highlighted by sub offices regarding AEBAS (Aadhaar Enabled Biometric attendance system) have been analyzed by this office and it has been observed that field offices are facing the following issues, against which clarification/action points are here under: –

AEBAS device is not working

Reasons for non-functioning of the Biometric Machines are not provided by Sub Offices, simply it has been mentioned — that machine/device is not working:

Reasons for the same may be:

a) RD Services for bio-metric machines may have been expired, that may be got renewed online from the maker of the machine by paying annual fees. The fee so applicable may be paid from Imprest with the respective offices or personally and reimbursed later on.

b) Latest software of AEBAS not available with the sub offices, that may be downloaded from the website https://pcdacdg.attendnace.gov.in or IT&S section of this office may be liaised with.

c) If the machine is physically damaged, demand for new machine be sent to IT&S section of this office.

AEBAS device is not available

All the field/sub offices have been issued biometric machines earlier. Advised to trace the same in your office and CRVs may also be checked accordingly.

Even then, if the machine is not traced demand for the same may be floated to IT&S Section of this office.

3.

Non-availability of internet

This may be local problem of BSNL or Internet Service Provider; the same may be sorted out locally by liaising with them.

If Internet connection is not available in the office, AN-XI of this office may be liaised with accordingly.

4.

Battery backup of device is not working

Area Accounts Office, Jalandhar & PAO (Ors) 14 GTC Subathu is advised to get the machines repaired locally, if feasible.

Or

New Biometric Attendance machines may be procured through GeM with the funds placed at their disposal.

5.

AEBAS Device needs to be re-activated

Renewal of RD Services may be required or latest AEBAS software need to be downloaded. Action may be taken as mentioned against Sr. No. 1 above.

6.

Registration of new recruits in AEBAS

There is provision of self registration of the officials on the website https://pcdacdg.attendance.gov.in. All newly recruits/officials may be advised to register themselves on “Employee Self Registration” on the ibid website.
Approval of new registrations will be done by administrator thereafter, in this office accordingly.

The requisition of new AEBAS devices may be forwarded to this section and for new internet connection to AN-MAP at the earliest possible, not later than 12th January.
