The Communications Workers Union of Kenya has issued a strike notice to its members for a strike to begin 16 December. This is following a meeting in which management refused to continue negotiations and proposed postponing talks until 2012. The union considers this move just another delay tactic. For the last three years, the union has been negotiating for better salaries for their members in the Postal Corporation.
