UNI LCJ President Bro. Matsuura san, UNI APRO President Bro. Noda san, UNI APRO Regional Secretary Bro. Rajendra Kumar Acharya and UNI ILC President Bro. Milind Nadkarni addressed the participants. Presentations from Japanese and Indian participants from different sectors made this webinar interesting and meaningful.

Dear Brothers,

You will be happy to hear that the UNI ILC/UNI LCJ Joint Webinar for women and youth was held Sunday (27.06.2021) and was successful.

As per the tradition since 2016 , UNI LCJ delegation participated as resource persons.

Bro.Matsuura San , President ,UNI LCJ inaugurated the webinar and was present throughout till the end though it was informed that he will leave after the inauguration.

Presence of Bro. Minao Noda San, President ,UNI APRO was the most pleasant surprise, and he too was present for the entire duration and addressed the participants in the closing session.

Bro.Rajendra Kumar Acharya was keynote speaker, and he too was present till the end though he too had indicated that he will leave the meeting early.

Sis.Yuki Kagenaka, FNIU, Sis.Saori Kashwagi, JPGU and Bro. Kazuhito Mizuno, ICTJ were the Japanese resource persons.

Sis.Rekha of FNPO and Bro,Rohit Kapoor from AIBOBOA presented in the webinar about the role of the union in the pandemic.

Sis.Megha of RMS, Bro.Kushal Kalita of AINEF and Bro.Seshu babu of NCU also reported about the role of their unions in pandemic.

Bro.Saurabh of NAPE GR C, Bro.Ajay of AIBOBEF, Sis.Shhravya of AISBISF and Sis.Bhavneet of AIBOBOA reported the group work on behalf of their groups.

Many others participated by asking questions or commenting on the presentations.

I feel happy to report that all ILC participants nominated by you were punctual, disciplined and participated enthusiastically till the end. Though it was a webinar, a session was dedicated to group work and the Indian participants reported on their group work. They also participated very well in the Q&A session.

I have already sent you mails about the participation from your individual unions. A big thanks.

Sis.Yoko Ogawa has expressed her happiness and sent congratulations to ILC affiliates for their participation.

All the management of the webinar, the program schedule and the tech support were handled efficiently by UNI Tokyo office.
