Today the Union Cabinet approved the release of the freezed DA from January 2020 and will applicable from July 2021.
Hence the new DA will be,
Old DA -17% +
4% of January 2020 +
4% of July 2020 +
3% of January 2021 =28% DA
No arrears for the period from Jan 2020-Jul 2021
As DA crossed 25%, HRA will also change from
Z 8-9%
Y 16-18%
X 24-27%
