Periodical meeting held On 11.09.2024 with FNPO affiliated
unions. Secretary Post, DG Post and other officers also present. Highlights of
the meeting given below and full details will be published after receipt of
minutes from the SR section.
1. Our long pending demand upgradation of C class offices into double handed
offices agreed with rationalisation of post offices. Where world load is there
staff will be retained and additional staff also given from deploying less work
load offices.
2. GST/IT returns filing work will be given for private consultant at circle
level instead DDO.
3. Discontinuation of date stamp already exempted for computerised PBs vide SB
order 10/2012 and for remaining also reviewed once the features of eKYC etc are
implemented.
4. NDC delivery staff problems will be reviewed including distance and no of
articles. Permanent staff will be attached.
5. Regarding dress allowance item clarification already given.
6. Proposal will be sent to include RMS offices also a part in Amrith Bharat
scheme and proposal submitted by FNPO.
7. Civil wing will be strengthened keeping in view of 1000 offices look and
feel project.
8. Civil wing cadre restructuring will be finalised soon. After cadre review
posts also will be filled like JE Jr Draughts man etc.
9. Implementation of common court cases for all issues will be reviewed and
will decide case by case.
10. Cashless treatment issue will be referred to Health Ministry
11. Keeping inview of MMU related issues substitute should be provided in leave
vacancy for short leave spells also and existing orders will be recirculated.
12. Creation of supervisor union matter is in court. Hence no final decision.
13. Compassionate appointments review committee will be appointed and unions
also will be invited to bring changes in favour of deceased family members
welfare.
14. All unfilled vacancies in MTS, MG, Postman in circles will be added for
25.8.24 examination results. In any circle still unfilled vacancies are there
those can be filled with surplus candidates of other circles... This proposal
is also under examination.
15. Officials in level 1, 2, 3 at Civil Wing also eligible for PA/SA exam asper
new RR
16. Cadre Restructuring of RMS and MMS: We presented our proposal in detail,
emphasizing that there would be no financial implications or functional
justification issues. Our suggestion was well-received.
17. Norms for Register, Speed, Parcel Hub, and Letter Mail: We stressed the
importance of adhering to proper norms in all these branches and demanded that
they be followed strictly.
18. Inclusion of RMS Offices in Amrith Bharath Station Scheme: After a detailed
discussion, Madam assured us that our proposal would be taken up with the
Railway Department for inclusion.
19. Dimapur HRA Case: We discussed the issue with ADG PAP and the report from
Assam Circle is being examined.
20. Vadodara RMS Issue: We discussed the matter with DDG (P), who has spoken
with PMG Vadodara to address the issue of Circle Secretary, AIRMS.
21. It was informed that adequate funds will be provided for repair,
maintainanc of departmental building and Postal quarters
22. Secretary Posts informed that department will go for big changes for it's
modernization as well as for reducing the loss of the department
23. To take immediate steps to join sports quota recruitment officials at early
date submitted letter to Secretary
Also visited Delhi circle and met DPS HQRs about Delhi Spl recruitment drive
2022 results and they informed that another 15 days time asked from directorate
to finalise.
