All India General Strike rescheduled on 9 July 2025
Central Trade Unions met today,15 May 2025, from 5pm. Considering the situation in the country, it is decided to defer the All India General Strike scheduled on 20 May 2025.
CTUs noted with serious concen that even when the country is facing such serious situation, the Government of India is aggressively pushing through the implementation of the labour codes, increasing working hours and curbing the trade union rights.
CTUs decided now to hold the All India General Strike on 9 July 2025.
Necessary intimation to be given to the employers/ authorities as required.
Mobilisations/actions will be held at workplace/ local/district levels on 20 May 2025.
Aggressive strike campaigns must be continued among the people.
