Once again on behalf of national union of postal employees postmen & gr “D” .I request all the postal employees to support FNPO and NUPE Postman & gr “D” by enrolling themselves as members of National union and save the trade union democracy.
As we all know that due to honourable Madaro High Court Orders our postal department has declared fresh revrification of membership of union/ Association.
The required declaration form duly , signed by director (SR) should be made available to staff by obtaining Photostate-copies of it.
The declaration forms duly filled in and signed by members on two places and also signed by union authorized representatives are to be submitted to DDO up to 15/5/2009.
The Branch / Divisional Secretary or authorized union representative should submit three copies of membership lists.
To Divisional head on 20 / 5 / 2009. The union representative should sign at the bottom of each page of all the three copies of membership lists.
The Divisional head will make scrutiny of declaration forms up to 25/5/2009 in presence of union representatives. We should alert and carefully observe the scrutiny to protect our membership.
After scrutiny divisional head will forward the declarations alongwith lists to the DDO. The DDO will exhibit the list on notice board between 27/5/2009 to 29/5/2009 for unformation to employees.
If any irregularity noticed by any employee regarding his name appearing in more than one list of unions. He should make representations of such fraud to the divisional head up to 2/6/2009. We must tell the employees that declaration should be signed only for one union & more than one will debar them to become member of any union for 5 years.
The recovery of subscription will start from salary of June 2009. I have already written indetail in previous news letter. However once again I repaeat that I am happy to see the day by day increase in membership of FNPO & NUPE Postmen & gr ”D”.I have noticed during my tour that employees in large numbers are filling declaration forms in favour of FNPO & NUPE-IV. The work we have done in past particularly in r/o Submission of CD memoraundum to pay commission and our effort for better wages for employees particularly postmen & Gr “D” are the reasons for this flow of membership in NUPE P- IV
I hope that with your help & effort we will be in better position and we will secure 20% to 25% rise in our present membership.
