The most important issue regarding of fixation of allowance of contingent
workers like watermen/sweeper/gardner etc. discussed successfully with
Hon.Secretary Department of Post and ADG(GDS/PCC) today. Accordingly,
clarification relating order no.2-53/2011-pcc Dated 22-1-2015 to fixation
of such contingent workers w.e.f. 1-1-2006 will be issued to all circles by
directorate within a couple of days. This is benefit a lot to all the deserving
poor contingent workers. FNPO was strongly rising this issue over last
many years and today Succeeded.
2)
Regarding direct recruitment of Postmen/MTS/Mailmen/Mailgard stay order of
Maharashtra circle. Inquiry report is awaited after received report decision
will take accordingly.
3)
Regarding Maharashtra circle PA/SA retyping exam court is
permitted to govt. company C-dac,but as per C-dac
has reday conducted this exam after nine month. This is too late. In such
a situation directorate instructed Maharashtra circle , You then make an
application to court to allow the conduction of re typing exam by department of
post.
4) So
many problems is created in direct recruitment of postmen /MTS. We
demanded again change the recruitment rules of postmen/MTS . 100% recruitment
is though only GDS staff. Officers view in this subject is positive.
5)
Regarding order subjected provision of para 5 of annexure to OM on MACP in case
of officials covered by TBOP/BCR/ACP Schemes dated 4-11-2013 clarification in
this subject issued in this week. This is benefit a lot of senior postmen and
promote Postal assistant.
