Committee on Dearness Allowance : Cabinet Committee may declare Dearness
allowance for Central Government employees and Pensioners on tomorrow…
As
per the Labour Ministry recommendation, the Finance Ministry making
arrangements to obtain the approval from the Union Cabinet on the agenda point.
The
agenda point may be taken for the discussion in the meeting to be held on
tomorrow at New Delhi. The additional Dearness allowance of 10% from July 2013
to all CG Staff and Pensioners may be granted to compensate the price hike. The
total Dearness allowance will go up to 90%.
Meanwhile
all the federations of CG Staff are demanding to merge 50% of Dearness
allowance with basic pay.
