A
significant step towards sustainable and efficient deliveries. In collaboration
with TVS e-Mobility Solutions, 211 electric two-wheelers have been deployed
across five Independent Delivery Centres in Mumbai, Chakala, Mumbai GPO, Sion,
Dadar and Kalbadevi, making them fully mechanised delivery hubs.
All
categories of mail, from ordinary letters to accountable mail and parcels, will
now be delivered using these electric vehicles. Charging stations have been set
up within post offices.
The
pilot launch at Chakala MIDC Post Office was graced by Shri Amitabh Singh,
Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra & Goa Circle, and senior leadership
from myTVS. A delivery revolution powered by mobility and responsibility.
