Subject: Rationalization of jurisdiction of Postal Divisions as per District boundaries.
Sir/Madam,
I
am directed to refer the then DGPS’s D.O. letter of even number dated
26.10.2023, on the subject mentioned above, vide which it was requested
to review such Postal Divisions, which serve revenue districts in
parts/fractions, and rationalize their jurisdiction, so as to ensure
that their jurisdiction corresponds with one or more revenue districts,
in full and not in parts.
2. In this regard, it has been decided that in the above matter status quo may be maintained till further orders.
