AADHAARUIDAI Notification: ECMP client older version revocation on 02nd Feb 2024, 182-1 Full installer & 182-3v promoted to stable.
Dear Team,
ECMP 182-3 has been promoted to stable on 23-1-2024. We revoked older version of ECMP client in Production on 2nd Feb 2024
Going
forward the allowed version will be 3.3.4.2/182-1(full installer
available in upload portal), 3.3.4.2/182-2 and 182-3 only. Hence it is
requested to upload all the pending packets before 2nd Feb 2024 to avoid
any packet loss.
In case if ECMP client is not getting upgraded automatically to 182-3 (after wait for few hours), only then follow below steps.
Step 1: - Take backup of packet-auto folder from the below location (even if all packets are uploaded to server, it is still recommended to do this step)
C:\UID Authority of India Aadhaar Enrolment Client\data
Step 2: - Uninstall the ECMP client (please start Step 2 only after completion of Step 1)
Step 3: - Please download full installer of the ECMP client v3.3.4.2/182-1 from the Upload Portal
Step 4: - Install the new version of the ECMP client (it might later auto-upgrade to 182-3)
Step 5: - Perform registration with the same station id to avoid 2 step registration.
Step 6: - Stop Aadhaar Enrolment client and QSSITV services.
Step 7:- Please do not copy the older packet in new packet-auto folder.
Step 8: - Start Aadhaar Enrolment client and QSSITV services
Note: As per the directive from UIDAI-HQ. All the older versions of ECMP Windows will be revoked and will no longer be supported from 2nd Feb 2024.
